PIPETTE

DINING TABLE

Thoughtfully DESIGNED in 2026

The Pipette dining table gets its name from the leg profiles which resembles the standard instrument used for dispensing accurate volumes of liquid in a science lab. The top surface is stilted by two saw-horse bases whereas the “pipette” legs are mortised into the capsule-like supports, which is lap joined over the stretcher.

SUBTLE ASYMMETRY

The goal for this table was to take a traditional table base and give it a sculptural, yet simple aesthetic, while leaning into the eclectic and art-forward nature of the clients home. Adding asymmetry to an otherwise symmetrical design, I contrasted parts with black stain and light oil, as well as providing size variation to the bulb-like feet. This playfulness gives the table new perspective depending on what end you are viewing it from.
